10 November 2011. A very typical good day - usual mix of productiveness & unproductiveness.
Starting with: busy, but cool day at work then off to meet friends for drinks.
From there it’s all: gossiping, people-watching, updating, chair-dancing, laughing, and posing for pics, plus breaks for text messaging with all of the other people out doing the same.
Finally it’s: “check please!” and cab calculus (to determinine who makes sense to share a cabs with based on directions we’re all headed in.)
Got me thinking about something mentioned earlier in the week and whether I should be thinking about that instead of auto-dismissing. I decided to sleep on it.
If I could find a real-life place that made me feel like Tiffany’s, then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name. ~ Holly Golightly, Truman Capote’s “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”
